Suturing 2

This course focuses on minor surgical procedures commonly needed in general practice and emergency care (e.g., abscess incision, atheroma excision, varicose vein ligation…). Participants will develop skills they can directly apply in everyday clinical settings.

Learning Objectives

• Performing minor surgical procedures under local anesthesia
• Managing abscesses, atheromas, naevi, and small injuries
• Handling surgical instruments and sterile technique
• Preparing for situations in emergency departments or general practice

Target group: Junior doctors, medical students (clinical phase), general practitioners
