To celebrate our 15th suturing course, Vyral organized a special internal course focused entirely on the practical learning and enhancement of surgical skills.

Under the guidance of OA Pressl from the Barmherzige Schwestern, we received a detailed introduction to the standard small intestine anastomosis, a technique regularly employed in our hospital.
This course was not only an opportunity for further education but also provided a platform to practically apply the anastomosis techniques directly on bovine small intestine. Thankfully, this was made possible through the generosity of our partner, the butcher master Derntl, who supplied the small intestine at no cost, greatly aiding our learning process.
Another highlight was the support from Johnson & Johnson, who provided us with the appropriate suture materials. This enabled all participants to practice the techniques under optimal conditions and effectively sharpen their surgical skills.
This 15th suturing course demonstrates our commitment to offering continuous education and gaining practical experience in surgery ourselves. We are proud of this successful event and grateful for the support of our partners, which allows us to continually expand our knowledge and skills.
